The ABC of surveys

Internet surveys, online surveys and web based surveys

What does online surveys, Internet surveys and web based surveys really mean? Is there a difference between them?

There is some confusion in the research community in regard to this. Some actually mean customer survey when saying that they conducted a web based survey towards the customers, some say online surveys when they actually mean employee surveys.

What does it all mean then? In our view, there is no difference between these surveys. An Internet survey usually does not refer to a survey that targets the Internet community,

but rather refers to the method used to collect the survey data - the Internet, the web or online.

Online, web based and Internet surveys in Easyresearch

Since Easyresearch has been developed to manage surveys through all of these channels it is very well suited to conduct surveys through email, intranet or the Internet.
